No. Alienware computers have always been over priced and you can use leopard on a alienware, i haven't tried running leopard on a pc yet but if i do get around to it i will report back on how well it runs

1337PSPer - how do you define "over"priced? I think they're accurately priced, considering they use higher quality parts than Dell or HP. That's just like saying a Mercedes is overpriced. It's a luxury car, hence, it is going to cost more. You get hand sewn leather, a better engine, etcetera. Same way with Alienware. They're custom built, with better parts and higher specs.

Actually, that MacBook Pro beats out the specs of the Alienware, except for the graphics card. But that graphics card is for gaming... And the MacBook Pro is not for gaming. And like I said - you're paying for mostly quality of parts, and the bundled software.

gfx card are also one of the more expensive parts to a computer......
Man were you right O_O I was out shopping when i saw a USD$1,000 one... that's twice as expensive as my cheap but reliable (and not dell like nor lagging) laptop
