I'm using deskspace and it allows you to set virtual desktops with custom wallpaper and icon positioning. I'm been trying it out for a while and i can say that it's brilliant software . You can even set a 360 background if you want and create your own.

All animations are smooth, even on my low-end laptop

This definitely defeats MSVDM and Virtual Dimension combined

And this also works with vista

I've been using MSVDM, so it's nice to find something better I will try it out on my phail-of-a-laptop computer.

I... acquired DeskSpace and even though all the settings are on their highest option, it only uses 77MB of RAM.

Change the language to English. I'm uploading a screencast of me using DeskSpace. I'll link to it tomorrow.

Btw, I prefer using keyboard shortcuts rather than mouse but that's just because i use a laptop

Nice video epixx. I'm with fuzzie, Keyboard shortcuts ftw.  I have mine set to if i hold the windows button and shift it zooms out then the arrows to change windows

Windows button is already used by start menu so i used Ctrl + Windows and when i let go it zooms in, but i also set Windows + 1/2/3/4 like in MSVDM too

Yea but if you press and hold the window button and press shift it won't open the start menu.

It's an AIR Twitter app called Snitter.
