Why reply to a thread that's been dead for a month? You notice all the n00bs have been doing that lately? Its really annoying. I has an idea! Lock all threds over 1 month old.(if it's posible to do it automaticaly)

Lock all threds over 1 month old.(if it's posible to do it automaticaly) Some threads that are over a month old are still post-able in, one example is stickied threads.

there should be a sweep every month deleting old threads, ones that have no meaning, but its just an idea, and i hate bringing back dead threads, but this thread was on the recent list, and all i go by is that.
but yeah, a sweep every month isnt a bad idea.

there should be a sweep every month deleting old threads, ones that have no meaning, but its just an idea, and i hate bringing back dead threads, but this thread was on the recent list, and all i go by is that.
but yeah, a sweep every month isnt a bad idea.
That's a LOT of work. We only have about two or three [active] moderators.

That's a LOT of work. We only have about two or three [active] moderators. I believe there's a feature to automatically lock topics unactive for an amount of time. |
