Can someone with leopard shed some light on it not being able to do wireless networking due to a bug that hasn't been fixed even thou its been out +40 .

Ok, i cleaned some room in one of the partitions so i can shrink it and make Linux its own partition. Just have to run a defrag first(could take awhile haven't done one in ages).
How much room would you suggest putting aside for Linux? I was thinking 7-10gb will do the job.

7-10GB is great... A fresh linux install including all the software is 2-3GBish... Linux alone is a little less than 1GB.
